AZhttp, Inc. provides a variety of financial and technical support and volunteer time to a variety of non-profit organizations and activities. Some of the more prominent of these activities events and organizations include:
Bill Austin is a member of the Board of Directors, the Vice President and Webmaster of Scottsdale Job Network, a non-profit 501(c)(3) community organization of job seekers and others volunteering their time to help them in their career transitions. Scottsdale Job Network provides education in the job search process and all attendees have the opportunity to meet and work with people who offer support and guidance during employment transition.
Maricopa County Fair Association
Bill Austin is a member of the Board of Directors of the Maricopa County Fair Association – a 501(c)(3) non-profit community organization that plans and runs the annual Maricopa County Fair and that receives no funding from tax revenue. Kathee Austin has provided generous financial support over the past five plus years as well as promoting the Maricopa County Fair activities and events on her online community news and information site East Valley Living. AZhttp, Inc. media resources have been used in the past to help get the word out and to make recommendations and help with negotiation of media placement and pricing.
Community Information & Referral
Bill Austin is a member of the Board of Directors, the Vice President and President Elect of Community Information & Referral, a non-profit 501(c)(3) community organization that offers a free, confidential 24-Hour Help Hotline all day every day to help those in need. This 24-Hour Help Hotline covers referrals in the areas of Health and Human Services and serves the ten central and northern counties of Arizona. Seasonal programs including Flu/Pneumonia Immunizations, Income Tax Assistance, and various holiday activities cover all of Arizona. Other programs include: Community Voice Mail for homeless individuals, CONTACS The COmmunity NeTwork for ACcessing Shelter, HIV CARE Hotline, Maricopa HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) Project, the DES Volunteer Program and Valley Lifeline.
